Reiki is an ancient hands on healing system rediscovered in the late 1800s, in Japan, by Dr. Mikao Usui. In 1935 Reiki was brought to Hawaii and eventually spread through out the United States.
Reiki has become more popular in the last decade and has become accessible to the general public. Reiki has helped thousands of people with headaches, stress, and pain; in balancing their mental, emotional, physical and spiritual bodies.
Reiki is safe and effective. It can be used on ourselves, children, animals, plants and anything else that wants or needs to receive healing energy.
To become a Reiki practitioner, you must take the class and receive the proper attunements. Once a person or animal is attuned, their energy centers are opened so that Universal Energy flows through them easily and enables them to promote healing to themselves and to those around them.
